Dark mode for WhatsApp, was officially rolled out to all android 10 and iOS 13 devices yesterday (Wednesday 3rd of March 2020), and as you all know, no Infinix or Tecno, or even iTel smartphones currently runs the new android 10 operating system for now.
UPDATE: WhatsApp dark mode is not only limited to android 10 devices, but for some reasons best known to WhatsApp, the updated version of the app itself, can’t be found on Google Play Store. So this article is still relevant.
So here’s what we’re gonna be doing today.

How to download, activate and make use of WhatsApp Dark Mode On Infinix, Tecno & iTel smartphones.
- First of all, follow this link ☛ to download WhatsApp v2.20.65. This is the latest version of WhatsApp that contains the dark mode feature, and cannot be found on Google Play Store if your phone doesn’t run android 10.
- After downloading it, make sure you install it on your smartphone. It will override your originally installed WhatsApp apk.
- After installation, open it, and go to your WhatsApp settings page.
- While in there, go to the option that says “Chats“, and from there, go to the next option that says “Theme“.
- From there, change the selection from “Light“, to “Dark“, and you should have WhatsApp running on its dark mode, on your Infinix, Tecno, or iTel smartphone.. #Cheers..
