The Tecno Spark 9 Pro price in Nigeria right now goes for ₦99,000, and this gives you 128GB of storage, and 4GB of RAM, which can be expanded up to 7GB, using the Tecno’s memory fusion feature.

So, having seen the price of this device, now let’s see what it comes with in terms of specs and features, and try to know what makes it unique among other devices in its price range.

Overview

So, for starters, the Tecno Spark 9 Pro is a budget device, so, you shouldn’t be expecting to see specs that you would rather get in a 150 – 200K device, right?

And on here, you’re getting a pretty large 6.7 inches 1080p (Full HD+) LCD display with no high refresh rate features.

The design is actually one of the things that I might say the Tecno Spark 9 Pro has going on for it though, as it looks very classy from the rear, and in a way, tries not to even look like a budget device like the past Spark series have done in the past.

So, I kind of like it.

It uses the same processor as the Spark 8 Pro from last year, the MediaTek Helio G85, and it’s paired with 128GB of internal storage which can even further be expanded using a micro-SD card, and the RAM comes in at 4GB, which again, can be expanded with an additional 3GB, making it a total of 7GB, using the Tecno’s memory fusion feature.

One area where the Spark 9 Pro has gotten a significant upgrade from its predecessor is the cameras, as this time, it has a 50MP main rear camera, and a 32MP front-facing camera.

The other cameras on the rear include the usual 2MP depth sensor and a QVGA sensor. The phone can only record videos at a 1080p resolution, and at a maximum frame rate of 30fps (frames per second) using both its front and rear cameras.

In terms of software, the Tecno Spark 9 Pro is actually the first Tecno device to ship with Android 12 out of the box, and this comes with the Tecnos HiOS version 8.6 custom UI layered on top of it.

The battery comes in with the same capacity as last year, 5000 mAh, and the charging speed is rated for 18W over a USB Type-C charging port.

And finally, it comes in a total of four colors, namely; Quantum Black, Burano Blue, Holy White, and Hacker Storm.
