Samsung Galaxy A52 5G Launch Date Draws Closer As Specs Leaks, Revealing A Snapdragon 750G Chipset

The Samsung Galaxy A51 was unarguably the most popular Samsung phone last year from the midrange segment, and it does so for a good reason. Now just a little bit more than a year that that phone was launched, rumors are already doing the numbers about its successor, the Galaxy A52 5G.

And if all the rumors and leaks about this phone, the Galaxy A52 are to be taken seriously, that means that the launch date for it might just be sitting somewhere around the corner, and waiting to happen.

So what do we have?

Well, first of all, there are likely gonna be two versions of the Galaxy A52 this year, a 4G only variant, and one with 5G built into it. So likely there are gonna be called the Samsung Galaxy A52 4G, and the Galaxy A52 5G.

In terms of looks and design, the Galaxy A52 (5G) lineups are largely gonna be unchanged from the A51 of last year.

We’re talking of the same 6.5 Inches centered hole-punched AMOLED display that we had on the A51, and it’s a good thing per se, I mean, this simply translates that the A52 5G is still gonna be keeping its overall compact form factor and feel in the hand for at least one more year or so, even if the leaked dimensions of it are a little bit different (slightly bigger) from those of the A51.

So as reported by GSMArena, the Galaxy A52 5G will measure 159.9mm in length or height, 75.1mm in width, and 8.4mm in thickness, as opposed to the 158.5 × 73.6 × 7.9mm measurements of the A51.

See? the differences aren’t that much, meaning that the A52 will be one compact smartphone if you’d ask me, but that is if, and only if the rumors are believed to be true.

Aside from looks and dimensions, the A52 5G is reported to come with a Snapdragon 750G processor running inside of it, 6 or 8GB of RAM to boot, with either 128 or 256GB of internal storage sizes respectively. So basically that means that performance and 5G connectivity has been taken care of.

On the back will be a new 64MP main camera lens which will most probably be accompanied by the same 12MP Ultrawide, 5MP macro and 5MP depth-sensing lenses from last year, then we might likely gonna be seeing the return of the 32MP front-facing lens, still from last year.

To keep everything running, Samsung is gonna fix the Galaxy A52 5G up with a 4500mAh capacity battery, with up to 15W charging speeds, and will definitely be running Android 11 with the new version of One Ui, One UI 3 out of the box.
