- Locate the “Display” setting option, and tap on it to open it.

Step Two – Register same finger twice on the phone
The next step to improving the fingerprint reader speed and accuracy of our Samsung phones is to register a single finger twice on the phone.
And below are the steps to do so.
- Kindly go back to your phone’s main settings menu.
- This time, locate the “Biometrics and security” settings option, and tap on it to open it.
- From there, locate the “Fingerprints” option, and tap on it.
- Delete any already existing registered fingerprints, and tap the “Add fingerprint‘ option to start registering new prints.
- When you’re done registering a finger, tap the “Add fingerprint” button again, and re-register that same finger again, this time while focusing on those parts the fingerprint reader couldn’t capture properly during the first registration, like the edges of the finger.
Doing this will make sure that any parts of the finger that wasn’t captured or weren’t captured properly during the first registration will be properly captured and registered the second time you’re registering that same finger.
And when you’re done adding your prints, go further down the page, and disable the “Show animation when unlocking” option by turning off the toggle in front of it.

- For the last time, go to your phone’s main settings menu.
- From your main settings menu page, tap on the search button icon located at the top-right corner of your phone’s display.
- Type “Special access” in the search bar, and when the option pops up on your screen, tap on it to open it.
- When you do so, a new page with a list of options will be shown to you, tap on the option labeled “Optimize battery usage“.
- A newer page will be shown to you, and from this new page, tap on the search icon located at the top-right corner of your phone’s screen, and type “Biometrics” into the search bar.
- You will see an option that looks like this “com.samsung.android.biometrics.app.settings” with a toggle in front of it.
- The toggle should be turned on by default, simply tap on it to turn it off, and that’s all.
After doing all these, you should notice a slight boost in both speed and the reading accuracy of the fingerprint reader on your Galaxy A50, A50s, A51, A52, and A52s 5G phones.
