For starters, in terms of look and design, the Samsung Galaxy A13 looks nothing like the A12 it succeeds, but instead, it now inherits the look of the Galaxy A52 series from last year and is now used across all Galaxy A series this year, giving all the phones in this year’s lineup a uniform look.

In terms of display, you’re getting a slightly larger 6.6 inches panel, up from 6.5 inches on the Galaxy A12, though it’s still an LCD panel like last year, this time, the resolution has been bumped up from 720p on the A12 to 1080p on the A13, and you don’t get a high refresh rate feature on here as the refresh rate is only limited to 60Hz.

There is an 8 nm Exynos 850 chipset on board here that is paired with 4GB of RAM, and you either get 64 or 128GB of storage.

The Samsung Galaxy A13 gets a 50MP main camera in replacement of the 48MP camera found on the A12, while the remaining three sensors remain the same at a 5MP ultrawide, 2MP macro, & a second 2MP depth sensor.

As expected, you get Amdroid 12 out of the box with Samsung’s One UI 4.1 software on it, and the good thing is you’ll be getting up to 3 – 4 years of new Android version updates on the phone.

Powering this rig is a 5000 mAh battery while the charging speed maxes out at 15W, but unfortunately, you don’t get the required charger in the box.
