Okay, so for starters, the iPhone 7 was announced alongside its bigger brother, the iPhone 7 Plus, way back in September 2016, which will make them both six years old come September or later this year when the iPhone 14 series will be announced.

But again, aside from the aging software version, another thing you should have in mind is that the iPhone 7 came with a very small 1960 mAh capacity battery, and before the iPhone 12 and 13 series with their impressive battery lives, the past iPhones have been notoriously known for their very, very poor battery lives and overheating issues.

So, if you still strong-headedly decide to buy this phone right now, then you should definitely get ready to charge it every 1 hr, or better still, use it while it’s plugged in.

I would never advise anyone to buy this phone right now, especially when we have better phones like the iPhone 8 with very similar specs, such as the display and cameras, better build quality, glass on both the front and back, a slightly better processor, the Apple A11 Bionic chipset, and to top it all, the iPhone 8 is still under Apple’s software update support list and will be getting the new iOS 16 update come September 2022.
