Long after Infinix released its last flagship Zero 6 smartphone way back in May 2019, today we have rumors circulating the internet of a new Infinix Zero phone in the works, the Infinix Zero 8.
So why skip the seventh figure and go for 8 instead, well, that I can’t tell you, but what I know for sure is, with the spec leaks that I’ve seen and read about so far about the coming Zero 8 smartphone if they happen to be true, then this phone is going to be packing one hell of a punch.
And without further, here is everything that you’ll need to know about the coming Infinix Zero 8 smartphone. #Enjoy.

Quick Leaked Specifications of The Coming Infinix Zero 8 Smartphone
- Up to 6.6 Inches display (not confirmed).
- Full HD+ resolution.
- 90Hz refresh rate + 180Hz touch sampling rate.
- Helio G90T processor + 8GB RAM.
- Android 10 + XOS 6. xx
- 64MP Main rear camera + other three.
- 48 + 8MP dual hole punch front-facing cameras.
- 960fps ultra slow-motion video recording.
- Ultra night mode (as advertised).
- Up to 4500mAh battery + 33W superfast charging.
- USB Type-C charging port.
Now having know some of the basic specs of the said Zero 8 smartphone, let us look further into its details, and try to paint a picture of the phone, as well as to know what we should be expecting.
DISPLAY
Although the actual size of the panel wasn’t confirmed, since most smartphones nowadays, and even those of Infinix themselves are beginning to ship with up to a 6.6-inch display, then let us just leave that of the Zero 8 at that.
And in terms of the display type itself, I mean this is supposed to be the flagship phone right? So I don’t think having an OLED display panel on a phone like the Zero 8 means asking for too much.
But one thing that I’m sure of is, that the Infinix Zero 8 display will be coming with up to 90Hz refresh rate, and a 180Hz touch response rate, and the resolution is going to be capped at a Full HD+ (1080p).
INFINIX ZERO 8 SPEC LEAKS – DESIGN
Although not much emphasis was really placed on what the phone will actually look like in person, I don’t think a front and back glass design will look bad, after all, they already did it once on last year’s Zero 6 model.
The phone will feature a quad camera setup that is housed in a diamond shape module, and from the video pasted above, it seemed like the fingerprint reader is gonna be repositioned under the display of the smartphone because I couldn’t see any capacitive fingerprint sensor on the back of the phone.
On the front of the device is where you’ll find the screen as usual, and once again, from the video posted, there is a dual hole-punch camera cutout, meaning the Infinix Zero 8 is going to feature a dual selfie camera system. More on that later.
CAMERAS
On the back of the phone will be a quad camera system of which we only know just a little about the main sensor itself, being a 64MP one. For the other three, we don’t have a single detail about them, but I’m guessing maybe an 8MP ultrawide, 5MP depth, and a 2MP macro lens. Nothing to be taken too seriously, just guessing though.
And then on the front, housed inside the pill-shaped hole punch cutout will be a 48MP main lens, and a supporting 8MP lens which I’m guessing might be either a telephoto or an ultra-wide lens.
The video also showcases that the Zero 8 will be capable of recording slow-motion videos, up to 960fps, but it didn’t state at what resolution can this video be shot, but since we’re talking about an Infinix phone here, then my best bet will be at a resolution of 720p (HD+).
INFINIX ZERO 8 SPEC LEAKS – PERFORMANCE
From the leaks above, the Infinix Zero 8 will be powered by a MediaTek Helio G90T chipset that is paired with up to 8GB of RAM to deliver the maximum performance possible, gone are the days of using underpowered Helio P chipsets. LOL
If these specs happen to actually launch with the smartphone, this will place the Zero 8 smartphone on par with the likes of last year’s Xiaomi Redmi Note 8 Pro smartphone, and maybe close to the recently launched Redmi Note 9 series.
Personally, I feel this is Infinix taking bold steps in the right direction, and I feel this is happening as a result of market pressure from related competing smartphone brands, such as the likes of Xiaomi and Oppo. So all thanks to the competition.

BATTERY AND CHARGING
We don’t have any information concerning the actual battery capacity of the Infinix Zero 8 smartphone, but I’m guessing somewhere around 4500 – 5000mAh wouldn’t sound like a bad idea.
But one thing that is for sure is the fact that the Infinix Zero 8 will come bundled with MediaTek’s superfast charging technology that is capped at 33W, and will do so over a USB Type-C charging port, making it the fastest charging Infinix phone to date, and the second Infinix smartphone to ever launch with a USB-C charging port after the Zero 6 from last year.
Now in conclusion, I will say that if all the specs listed here happen to be true, then the Infinix Zero 8 will be a smartphone that will not only look premium, but at the same time ready to take on the likes of Xiaomi’s and Oppo’s offering, and even most smartphones from Samsung’s Galaxy A and M lineups in the same price range and segment.
As of the time of writing this article, we don’t have any word yet as to when this smartphone will actually launch, but when we do so, trust us to update this article accordingly, so make sure that you’re subscribed to our push notifications system if you haven’t done so.
