Earlier today, Infinix took to the Internet to announced its newest and greatest Note phones yet, the Infinix Note 10, the Note 10 Pro, and the Note 10 Pro NFC.
The Note 10 Pro and Note 10 Pro NFC are basically the same devices, with just one lacking the NFC function, so it’s safe to say that Infinix announced two devices, which are the Infinix Note 10, and the Infinix Note 10 Pro. And for the rest of this article, we’re gonna be using the Infinix Note 10 Pro to reference both. You dig?
So, like I said earlier, these are the latest and greatest Infinix Note devices that they’ve ever announced to date, and when you try to size them up with their current outgoing predecessors, the Infinix Note 8 and Note 8i, you’ll see that Infinix has really taken big steps, in order to make the new Note phones, you know, very Noteworthy.
So, first of all, and after a very long time, we’re finally getting back Full HD+ (1080p) resolution displays on Infinix Note phones, and this is coming after Infinix ripped its Note phones, starting with the Note 7, off 1080p displays, after it has used them on the Note 4, 5, and 6 phones.
So, shipping the Note 7 with a 720p resolution display when it launched in April last year, was a big letdown for many, including myself.
And to make matters worse, the Note 7 was the first Infinix Note phone to ship with a colossal 6.95 Inches sized display, which is the same size as the ones on these new phones, but, having a 720p resolution on a display that is that big, was really unforgiven. I mean, you could really see each individual pixel of the display by just looking hard enough.
So, it’s a good thing that Infinix has went back to the drawing board, and has corrected their mistake on that aspect. But one more thing that we’re patiently waiting for Infinix to start including on their phones in terms of display, are OLED panels. And I hope that by next year, we should be getting this from them. Fingers crossed.
Now, let’s talk about each phone separately, shall we?
Infinix Note 10
- 6.95 Inches 1080p (Full HD+) LCD display.
- 90Hz refresh rate.
- Mediatek Helio G85 processor.
- 4/6GB RAM + 64/128GB storage.
- 48MP triple rear cameras.
- 16MP quad cameras.
- Android 11 + XOS 7.6 Dolphin.
- Dual speakers, with DTS audio processing.
- 5000mAh battery + 18W fast charging.
The Infinix Note 10 as you already guessed, is the lesser “speced” variant among the three or two new Infinix Note phones, depending on how you choose to count them.
And speaking of which phone exactly that this phone replaces in the Note 8 family, then that will be the Infinix Note 8i. So, we’ll be mostly making references to the Note 8i for this section of the article.
It comes in what now seems to be the chosen normal screen size for all Infinix Note phones moving forward, a 6.95 Inches 1080p LCD panel, and Infinix has done well to equip this display with up to 90Hz refresh rate speeds, so it’d be ready for whatever task lies ahead of it.
In terms of design, Infinix has chosen to stick with what worked for them on the Note 8 and Note 8i, so, there’s nothing spectacularly new here, except that the Infinix Note 10 now ships in three new colors, and they’re namely; 95° Black, 7° Purple, and Emerald Green.
Yeah, you heard that right.
And as for the cameras, it seems a lot hasn’t changed from what we had on the Note 8i, and even the number of camera sensors has been reduced too.
So, while the Note 8i rocked a quad-camera setup on the rear, of which we all know that the only real camera there was the 48MP main sensor, the Note 10 instead, comes with a three-camera setup, and those consist of a 48MP main sensor, a 2MP depth sensor, and a second 2MP 4cm macro sensor.
While on the front, and tucked safely inside a hole-punch cutout which has now been moved from the top-left corner, now to the top-center position of the phone’s screen, is a 16MP front-facing camera.
As before, these cameras can shoot 1440p (2K) videos at 30fps (frames per seconds), and you can also shoot super-slow motion videos on 720p resolution, at 960fps.
The display on this thing is not the only thing that has been jacked up, as the processor too, has gotten its own fair share of upgrade.
So, we’re looking at a Mediatek Helio G85 chipset sitting at the helm of affairs, and making sure that 90Hz refresh rate mode looks buttery smooth on this device.
It’s also got 4 Gigabytes of RAM, and 64 Gigabytes of storage as base configuration, but if you for once feel those numbers aren’t enough for you, you can opt for the 6 Gigabytes of RAM, and 128 Gigabytes of storage option.
As expected, the phone ships with Android 11 out of the box, and it is rocking Infinix’s XOS version 7.6 Dolphin on it.
But just so you know, there is no hope of getting any new Android version updates on this thing, so, it’s either you accept the fact that you’ll live with Android 11 + XOS version 7.6 on this device all your life, or get ready to buy the Note 11 or 12 when they launch if you want a new Android version on an Infinix Note phone.
The battery capacity has been slightly reduced this year, as you’re getting a 5000mAh capacity tank, which can always be refilled using an 18W fast charging system, via a USB Type-C port.
And one last thing though, the Infinix Note 10 phone now includes a dual speaker setup, with one, which is the regular loudspeaker sitting at the bottom, and the amplified earpiece acting as the second speaker, while, sitting at the top of the phone.
But just so you know though, this shouldn’t in any way be mistaken for a stereo speaker setup, as these are just two separate loudspeakers that were included to amplify your media consumption and gameplay on the device, so you shouldn’t expect that premium stereo speaker sound quality that you’d get on more expensive phones from neighboring brands.
So, that is it for the vanilla Infinix Note 10 smartphone, now let’s talk about its immediate elder brother, the Infinix Note 10 Pro. Shall we?
Infinix Note 10 Pro
- 6.95 Inches 1080p (Full HD+) LCD display.
- 90Hz refresh rate.
- Mediatek Helio G95 processor.
- 6/8GB RAM + 128/256GB storage.
- 64MP quad rear cameras.
- 16MP quad cameras.
- Android 11 + XOS 7.6 Dolphin.
- Dual speakers, with DTS audio processing.
- 5000mAh battery + 33W superfast charging.
The Infinix Note 10 Pro is the beefier speced version of the regular Note 10, and it is also positioned to be a big step forward from the Note 8 smartphone that it is replacing, and the specs speak for themselves.
So, what do we got here?
Well, quite a lot.
To start with, the Infinix Note 10 Pro is fitted with the same 6.95 Inches sized LCD display panel as was seen on the vanilla Note 10, and it comes complete with 1080p resolution, and up to 90Hz screen refresh rate.
The cameras are one aspect where Infinix has taken big steps on the Note 10 Pro over what was seen on the Note 8 phone from last year, and that’s with the inclusion of an 8MP ultrawide sensor on the Note 10 Pro with 120° FoV (Field of View), before now, the Infinix Zero 8 used to be the only Infinix phone to have this sensor.
Aside from the ultrawide sensor, other sensors that we can find on this device include; a 64MP main shooter, a 2MP depth sensor, and a second 2MP monochrome (black/white) sensor.
For those who noticed, you might be wondering why there is no macro sensor included on the Infinix Note 10 Pro’s camera train, and that is because the ultrawide sensor can now pull double duty as both an ultrawide sensor, and a macro sensor.
While on the front, and once again, safely tucked inside a hole-punch cutout that is positioned at the top-center position of the Note 10 Pro is a 16MP unit.
The Note 10 Pro’s rear camera can shoot 4K videos at 30fps (frames per second), as well as super slow-motion videos, at 960fps.
Its got a Mediatek Helio G95 chipset at its helm of affairs, and it is responsible for driving that huge 6.95 Inches sized display at 90Hz speeds, even better than the Helio G90T that was found on the Zero 8, and for starters, it comes fitted with up 6 Gigabytes of RAM capacity, and 128 Gigabytes of storage capacity as the base configuration, but if you’re feeling lucky, you can opt instead for the 8 Gigabytes RAM + 256 Gigabytes storage variant.
The phone boots Android 11 out of the box, and like the vanilla Note 10, this one also has Infinix XOS version 7.6 Dolphin slapped on top of it.
It is fitted with a 5000mAh battery capacity tank powering the whole thing up, and while this might look like a downgrade from the 5200mAh battery capacity tank that was seen on the Note 8, this one charges faster at up to 33W charging speeds, which Infinix claims that a 5-minute charge can net you up to two hours of gaming.
The one also comes with dual speakers on board, and like the vanilla Note 10 before it, it comes in three colors as well, namely; 95° Black, 7° Purple, and Nordic Pink.
So guys, this is roughly everything you need to know right now, concerning the just announced Infinix Note 10 and Note 10 Pro phones, kindly let us know what you think about these phones in the comments section below, and don’t forget to give this article a thumbs up by sharing it if you enjoyed reading it, and as always, I’ll see you all tomorrow, #Peace Out.

Nice one Infinix, nice one. But it’s high time you started using OLED displays on your phones. I wonder what made them stop after the Infinix Zero 2.
