How to transfer/share airtime on Glo – If you’re still new to the Glo network and probably do not know how to transfer or share airtime with the Glo network, well then today, I’ll be teaching you exactly how you can do that.
So, you’re ready?
Sure, then let’s begin. #enjoy.
But, first of all;
What is the Glo EasyShare?
Similar to the MTN Share N’ Sell service, the Glo EasyShare is a service that lets you share airtime from one Glo number to another Glo number using a unique USSD code, *131*Phone Number*Airtime Amount*PIN#.
With this code, you can easily share airtime from your balance to any Glo number. But take note that the EasyShare service does not work for Glo customers who are on the Glo Berekete tariff plan. So, before you make use of it, kindly make sure that you’re not on that tariff plan, else you’ll get the error message saying “Sorry, service currently not available” whenever you try to share airtime from your line to another Glo line.
Also take note that in order to complete the transfer, a 5-digit PIN will be required. By default, every Glo customer has a PIN, 00000.
You can choose to continue using this PIN or change it to any 5-digit code of your choice, and I’ll also show you how to do that shortly.
And with that being said, now let’s see how we can transfer airtime from our Glo line to another Glo line, using the EasyShare service.
#enjoy.
