Method 1 – How to take screenshots on Infinix phones, using the volume down + power key combo.
This is the oldest method of taking screenshots on Infinix phones, and all android phones as well.
It only requires you to press and hold down the volume-down and power button of your phone, and a screenshot will be taken. Easy-peasy right?
Well, if you think this method is very easy, then wait till you see the second method, that one is even a lot easier.
Give me a second.
Method 2 – Taking screenshots on Infinix phones using the “Screenshot” button from the quick notification toggles.
So like I said up there, if you think the first method was so easy, then wait till you see the second one.
It is even more easier because you don’t have to perform any finger gymnastics while trying to hit the volume-down + power button combo at the same time.
All that is required of you here is;
- While you’re looking at the screen that you want to take a screenshot of.
- Simply drag down your notification tray from the top of your screen to reveal the quick notification toggles.
- From there, simply tap on the button that says “Screenshot” and that is it.
- Your screenshot will be taken and saved in your gallery or photos app. No finger gymnastics, no worries.
Method 3 – Taking screenshots on Infinix phones, using Infinix Smart Panel.
The Smart Panel feature on Infinix phones can be used to do a whole lot of things, and taking screenshots is just one of them.
With the Smart Panel, all you just have to do is swipe a finger inwardly from the edge of your phone’s screen, and from there, you can do whatever it is you have set the Smart Panel to, like opening apps, taking screenshots, screen recording, etc.
So if you don’t have Smart Panel already set up on your phone, then there is no best time to do so, other than now.
And here’s how to.
- Go to your phone’s main setting menu, locate and tap on the option that says “Smart Panel“.
- While in there, you should see a toggle button that when pressed, enables the Smart Panel feature.
- When the feature has been enabled, a pill-shaped button will appear at either the right or left edge of your phone’s display, similar to that of Samsung’s Edge panel.
- You can swipe inwardly on this button to the center of your phone’s display to open Smart Panel, and from there, you get to choose what apps and features that should be included in it, or better still, leave things the way they are by default.
- You can change the location of the button on your phone’s screen by moving it upwards, downwards, to the far right, or to the left, depending on how far your fingers can stretch across your display.
- So set up everything to your preference, and let’s see we can take screenshots from the Smart Panel.

Method 4 – How to take screenshots using Google Assistant voice commands.
With Google Assistant voice commands, all you have to do is pass a simple instruction like “Hey Google, take a screenshot” and wallah!!, a screenshot is taken.
But before doing this, you must make sure to have set up Google Assistant on your phone first, else when you say “Hey Google”, the assistant will not respond to you.

Now I know a lot of you know about taking screenshots on your Infinix phones and android phones as a whole.
But how many of you actually know about “Scroll Shots“?
Something that looks like this…
Well, have you wondered if you can take a single of screenshot of one hell-as* long page on your phone before?
Instead of taking the screenshots in bits because of the inability of your phone’s screen to display the whole page at once?
Now that is where scroll shots comes in to play. It is simply a way of capturing very long pages like a web page on your phone, from the top to the bottom in just one screenshot, without breaking them in bits.
So with this, how do you take scroll shots on your phones?
Well, quite simple, as all you have to do is;
- While you’re on the screen that you want to take a screenshot of, simply drag down your notifications tray to reveal your quick setting toggles.
- From there, tap on “Screenshot” and a screenshot will be taken. But wait, it doesn’t end there.
- After the screenshot has been taken, a preview of the photo will be shown to you, with some options at the bottom of your screen.
- From the options, tap on the one that says “Scroll Shot” and this time, the more you scroll down the page, the scroll shot feature will keep taking screenshots until you get to the limits.
