Have you ever wondered if it was possible to hack a phone’s fingerprint reader? Especially phones still making use of capacitive fingerprint readers?
Well, the thing is, there is a very slim chance that you might be able to do so.
And today, I’m gonna show you how to hack and unlock any phone’s capacitive fingerprint reader, using nothing but just a sellotape.
But just so you know, this process is not in any way guaranteed or approved that it will actually work for you, as this article was actually made for the fun of it.
And even if it does work for you, we are in no way encouraging you to go around and start unlocking people’s phones without their consent.
And with that out of the way, let’s get started. #enjoy.

Practical steps to hack and unlock any phone’s fingerprint reader, using a sellotape.
Step One
Roll out a small piece of tape from the roll of sellotape, and paste it on the finger which has been registered on your phone or your victim’s phone.
Step Two
Use a second finger to press the sellotape hard on the registered finger, doing this will ensure that the prints from the registered finger are perfectly copied and duplicated on the sellotape, this process is called “Cloning“.
Step Three
Now gently remove the piece of sellotape from your finger, and paste it on the fingerprint reader on your phone or your victim’s phone.
If the fingerprints from the registered finger were cloned perfectly on the sellotape, the phone should unlock immediately after you place the sellotape on its fingerprint reader.
And that is how you can unlock or bypass any phone’s fingerprint security, using nothing but just a piece of sellotape.
Once again, this article was not made with any fraudulent intent in mind, so I don’t advise that you go about with sellotapes in your pocket, looking for whose phones to unlock.
This article was made just for the fun of it, probably one of those cool tricks that can be used to give your friends that wow factor.
But in the meantime, let us know if you were able to successfully clone and unlock your phone’s fingerprint security using a sellotape by leaving a comment for us in the comments section below, and if you enjoyed reading this article, kindly give it a thumbs up by sharing, and as always, I’ll see y’all tomorrow, #peace out.

Tried it the first time on galaxy s6, it worked, but didn't work the second time.. anyway thanks for the tip.
But of a truth, this simply means that we that are using fingerprint security to lock our phone, we are not safe again oh..
me i will just be hiding my finger inside my pocket, in case anybody want to come near me with sellotape..
Very funny, but nobody would want to do that na.. The point is not to use it to copy people's fingerprint and use it to harm them, of which no one will even give the chance to copy his or her fingerprint… its just for fun purposes only
