Price Differences
As I already said, the DStv Premium costs ₦21,000 which gives you a total of 229 channels, while the DStv Compact Plus package costs ₦14,250 and gives you a total of 212 channels, which is 17 channels less than what you’d get on the Premium package.
Based on these two factors, if you asked me, I’ll say you’re not missing much if you went for the Compact Plus package considering that you’re losing just 17 channels, but save almost ₦7,000 in cost.
DStv Premium vs Compact Plus: Channel Comparisons
As I said, you get a total of 229 channels on the Premium package, and 212 on the Compact Plus package, and the table below shows the list of channels.
And that’s basically all you need to know about the DStv Premium vs the DStv Compact Plus packages.
For ₦6,750 less, you lose about 17 channels, which to me, is still pretty reasonable, especially if you’re not a sports fan.
