So, like we said on the Redmi Note 10 and 10 Pro, Xiaomi took some of the best features of the 9 Pro, toned them down as much as possible, brought the price down even further, and boom, we have a Redmi Note 9.

So, for a current starting price of ₦80,000, you get a smaller and compact 6.53 inches display, which unsurprisingly, is still an LCD panel, and no high refresh rate, not like we were expecting one though.

The processor used here is a MediaTek Helio G85, and the main camera has been brought down to a 48MP sensor, while the rest three sensors stay the same, and one thing Xiaomi hasn’t downgraded here is the battery size on this phone, as it retains the 5020 mAh capacity cell found on the Pro model, but the charging speed has been brought down to 18W, which is still reasonably fast if you asked me.
