1. Fisayo Fosudo
Visit now: Official YouTube channel.
Fisayo Fosudo as many people have come to know him is undoubtedly the biggest and most popular tech YouTube channel or YouTuber that you can find in Nigeria as we speak, with over 255K active subscribers, and over 15.8 million views on the channel so far.
He is popularly known for his tagline #Foda Ado, which is a stylish way of saying “further ado”, and he uses it very often in his videos as “without #foda ado, let’s get into the video”.
So, what makes Fisayo Fosudo unique and stand out among other tech YouTubers alike in the country?
Well, for starters, I will say that if you often watch MKBHD’s videos and like the quality and crispness of his videos, then you’ll definitely fall in love with those of Fisayo Fosudo’s as well, as his videos are of top quality, very crisp, and very well explain, and with top-notch sound quality.
And aside from making tech videos, every Friday of the week, he uploads a special video tagged the “Finance Friday” videos, and in these, he talks about finance-related topics such as Investment, Saving, Tech startups, Crypto trading, etc.
So, if you’re looking for the best tech YouTube channels to spend most of your free time in 2022, then the Fisayo Fosudo channel is hands down the very best one that you can find around today.

2. Izzi Boye
Visit now: Official YouTube channel.
Left to me, I’ll say that Izzi Boye is undoubtedly the second-best tech YouTube channel that you can find in the country today, with over 38.2K active subscribers, and a total of 4.4 million views so far on the channel.
Like Fisayo Fosudo, his videos are crisp, and very well explained with a slow but soothing tone of voice, cinematic camera spans, and excellent sound quality.
And aside from just making mobile tech review videos, he also makes comparison videos between two or more phones or digital gadgets.
So, if you’re looking for a tech YouTube channel that makes you forget you’re watching a video on YouTube, but feels more like you’re seeing a romantic Hollywood movie, then this is definitely the one.
3. Valor Reviews
Visit now: Official YouTube channel.
Valor Reviews is a household name in the tech space in Nigeria, having over 74.5K active subscribers, and over 9.4 million total views on the channel so far.
Unlike the likes of Fisayo Fosudo and Izzi Boye that are famously known for their calm and soothing video rendering styles, Valor Reviews is more popularly known for the slight humor added to his videos, and the crazy smartphone drop tests he usually does during his smartphone reviews.
Aside from smartphone reviews, like Izzi Boye, he is also known for his phone comparison videos alongside other gadgets such as wires earphones, smartwatches, etc.
So, if you’re looking for a tech YouTube channel that feels more like a tech comedy channel where you’d smile and sometimes laugh out loud in-between videos, then Valor Reviews is the YouTube channel for that.
4. Oscarmini
Visit now: Official YouTube channel.
Oscarmini is the official tech YouTube channel of the Oscarmini blog, and as of the time of writing this article, the channel currently has over 47.5K active subscribers, and a total view count of over 5.2 million so far.
Oscar Frank, which is the face behind the channel, is popularly known for his foreign-like English accent, and curly hair.
His videos are also of high quality, very crisp, and with good sound quality. So, if you love those of Izzi Boye, Fisayo’s, and the rest, then you’ll have no reason not to love the Oscarmini YouTube channel as well.
5. Eric Okafor
Visit now: Official YouTube channel.
Eric Okafor, who was formerly known as KnewKeed, is one of the earliest YouTubers to venture into the tech space in Nigeria, thereby paving the path for others to follow.
Over the years, he has managed to garner over 187K active subscribers, while having a total of over 40 million views.
Eric Okafor, alongside the likes of MissTechy, used to be my two favorite YouTube channels until the likes of Fisayo, Izzi Boye, and Valor Reviews started emerging, but that’s not to say that his videos are no longer as interesting to watch as they used to be before, except for the fact that he has started deviating lately from making proper YouTube videos, but now focuses more on making less than a minute long YouTube Short videos, alongside Tik-Tok, and Instagram videos.
6. FRED’S TECH HUB
Visit now: Official YouTube channel.
Fred’s Tech Hub is another popular tech YouTube channel, having gathered over 52K active subscribers, and over 6.2 million views on the channel so far.
His videos are well presented with good lighting and crisp sound. Unlike Oscarmini with his foreign-like English accent, I particularly like and enjoy Fred’s videos for his more Nigerian-like English accent.
So, if you’re looking for a tech YouTube channel that makes you feel more at home, and convinces you that you’re actually watching and listening to your fellow Nigerian man, then Fred’s Tech Hub is the best YouTube channel for that.
7. Kagan
Visit now: Official YouTube channel.
The Kagan tech YouTube channel might not sound so popular to many, in fact, I even got to know about the channel just recently, but even while not so popular among folks offline, coming to his official YouTube page, he has gathered over 22K active subscribers, with a total view count of over 4.6 million views so far.
One unique thing about the Kagan YouTube channel, and that which sets it apart from other channels is the fact that nothing about the channel looks, sounds, or seems Nigerian.
In fact, on my first time venturing into the channel, I never believed it was owned and managed by a Nigerian until I went into the “About” section of the page.
And aside from the normal smartphone reviews that other tech YouTubers do on their various channels, Kagan also does a lot of mechanical keyboard reviews and comparisons, digital camera reviews and comparisons, microphone reviews and comparisons, etc, in fact, if you want to learn about the best gadgets used for film making, then he’s the right guy for the job.
So, if you’re looking for a Nigerian tech YouTube channel that also touches other aspects of tech aside from smartphones alone, and with a touch of foreign vibe to it as with the likes of MKBHD and the rest, then Kagan is one of the best tech YouTube channels to spend most of your free time in 2022.
8. Tech Arena24
Visit now: Official YouTube channel.
Talk about the fast-rising tech YouTube channels in the country, then Tech Arena24 is currently one of the fastest-rising tech YouTube channels that you can find right now, with over 21.6K active subscribers, and a total view count of over 2.7 million views so far.
Marvel, who happens to be the face behind the channel started by doing basic smartphone comparisons with just the pictures of phones side-by-side, and as time went on, he has grown so much that he now does full phone reviews and proper comparisons with the actual phones in hands.
And like the rest, his videos are crisp, and very well explained. So, if you’re looking for a tech YouTube channel that gives and explains every single detail of a smartphone, then you’ll have no reason not to love the Tech Arena24 YouTube channel.
9. Tech Rann
Visit now: Official YouTube channel.
Tech Rann is the only Nigerian tech YouTube channel I’ve come to know that does smartphone teardowns, just like the “Jerry Rig Everything” YouTube channel.
So, if you love seeing smartphones being torn apart abroad on the Jerry Rig channel, then why wouldn’t you love to see them receiving the same treatment back here at home, and being done by a fellow Nigerian man?
And if you must know, the same Marvel guy that owns the Tech Arena24 channel that we just finished talking about up there, is the same guy that owns this channel as well.
So, he reviews and compares the phones on the first channel, and comes down here to tear them apart, sounds cool right?
So, if you love smartphones being maltreated, abused, torn apart, and put throw pain, then you’ll spend the larger part of your life watching the Tech Rann YouTube channel.
10. Tech OverWatch
Visit now: Official YouTube channel.
Tech OverWatch is another fast-rising tech YouTube channel, but you wouldn’t know because his videos are of the best quality, and very well scripted like someone who has been in the game for so long.
The channel has over 32.8K active subscribers, with over 1.9 million total view count, and almost hitting the 2 million views mark.
If you love watching the likes of Fisayo Fosudo, Izzi Boye, Kagan, Oscarmini, etc because of their subtle camera span and cinematic angled shots with a soothing voice-over, then you’ll find yourself involuntarily falling in love with this channel as well.
11. Henry O
Visit now: Official YouTube channel.
Henry O, formerly and still popularly as Henryneo, is among the oldest tech YouTubers we have in the country, and still being very consistent up to this day, while having garnered over 45.7K active subscribers, and having over 5.8 million views so far on the channel.
Aside from the regular smartphone reviews that everyone does nowadays, he sometimes also does laptop reviews, which is one of the things that sets him apart from other tech YouTube channels in the country.
And like the rest, his videos are always of high quality with cinematic camera angle shots of whatever gadget he’s reviewing, and with a nice and clean voice-over to go along with it.
12. TechCity
Visit now: Official YouTube channel.
And moving away from the mostly male-dominated YouTube tech space, TechCity is a YouTube channel that is owned and managed by a female.
Surprised? Don’t be.
This is one of the few female-owned tech channels you’ll find on YouTube today. Even while being run by a female, it has managed to gather over an impressive 17.8K active subscribers and has a total view count of over 2.3 million.
Now unlike most male-dominated tech YouTube channels where they strictly talk about and review tech products, TechCity sometimes mixes hers with videos about popular celebrities in the tech space such as Elon Musk, Jack Dorsey, etc, making the channel seem more like a celebrity and lifestyle YouTube channel.
So, if you’re looking for a YouTube channel that isn’t strictly based on reviews, comparisons, tips and tricks, and the rest, but also mixes things up by sprinkling stuff like tech events and updates happening around the world, then TechCity is one of the best tech YouTube channels that you’ll not get tired of watching in 2022.
13. MissTechy
Visit now: Official YouTube channel.
MissTechy is commonly known as one of the earliest female-owned tech YouTube channels dating all the way back to 2016, and she quickly rose to fame because she was actually the only known female in the male-dominated tech space of then.
Her videos were popularly known for having this wow factor and crazy transitioning effects, and she was used to spicing them up with a bit of humor as of then.
And just like Eric Okafor, MissTechy used to be my No.1 go-to Nigerian YouTube channel for anything tech-related as of then, but not until she stopped being consistent in video uploads, and the likes of Fisayo Fosudo, Izzi Boye, and the rest entered the game.
But she still uploads videos whenever she can once in a while, and whenever she does so, they still have that old wow factor they’ve always been known for back in the days and are still fun to watch too.
So, if you’re looking for a tech YouTube channel with crazy transitioning effects and all that, then MissTechy is one of the best YouTube channels to follow this year.
And there you have it guys, the best Nigerian tech YouTube channels or YouTubers that you should follow this year.
